We also added Dell's Latitude 14 Rugged Extreme to illustrate the innovations and modifications of the Extreme Series. The Bullmann C-Klasse 3 SRD 14 with an Intel Core i7-3632MQ, 8 GB of working memory and a 256 GB SSD claims to be another authentic industrial device. We use some comparison models to put our review sample of the Latitude 14 Rugged in perspective. The competition is not idle in this category, though. The price starts at 1600 Euros (~$1988), but the model features stronger hardware. However, it is unlikely that an identical configuration will be made available in Germany.
An Intel Core i5-4310U, 4 GB of working memory and a 500 GB hard drive are inside. The 1850 Euro (~$2310) price tag of our review sample is clearly below the starting price of 2420 Euros (~$3006) of the Extreme models. Now the Non-Extreme Series is to also meet these demands to an equal extent. Dell offers its Latitude-Rugged-Extreme lineup that copes with all these requirements. Rough handling does not exactly contribute to a technical device's service life, either. For the original German review, see here.
